The Starless All
05:56
|
|||
[Composed during the passing of Hurricane María, September 20th, 2017.]
... And Darkness was upon the face of the world,
When the glimmer of grace departed on that final day
Before the Age of Wrath - Wherein all stars died
As did any hope of peace - for His Spirit moved upon the face of the waters...
And it moved in the midst of the winds and the earth,
And in the dying hearts of men;
It moved [gravebound] to devour all.
“Era un mundo sin tiempo. Podía ser noche o día. Podía ser amanecer o crepúsculo. El cielo era una mancha de leche sucia... y San Isidro una herida honda de fango y desmonte en el cadáver de la montaña." - La víspera del hombre, René Marqués (1958).
And every child of God did embrace The Starless All.
And every child of God did embrace The Starless All.

Excoriate All Hope
04:41
|
|||
Surge!
O hand of justice divine,
With nails that further reach,
And further cut this world of ours:
May you scrape away at the skin of our crimes
That keep us away from your providence.
That you may devise
A plan for each of these,
And make victims
Of great and timeless malediction.
The mountains around us,
And the heavens above;
The rivers beneath them,
And the lives beside them.
May you leave without shelter
The head of everything that breathes,
And make of this lively place
A realm that may bear
Your smothering justice.
Excoriate Hope
That their thirst be quenched.
Excoriate Hope
That their hunger be satisfied.
Excoriate All Hope
That their thirst be quenched.
Excoriate All Hope
That their hunger be satisfied.
Excoriate All Hope
Of a calm to this storm.
Excoriate All Hope
Of any dawn thereafter.

Crown of Mud and Tears
05:54
|
|||
[ESCENA:]
Barren of all distinction,
No colors or hues to discern:
Life from Death,
Blood from Ash.
All was equal
In that naught bore value,
Before the eyes of the Dead,
Flooded by Mud and Tears.
A crown for us to bear
A torch for ages to gleam.
For ages to see and know
That our plight was not without precedence;
That before us and thereafter,
There shall be a crown of suffering to wear.

We As Vessels of Them
05:29
|
|||
So far removed from the light of God,
His light no longer reaches us.
Husks of misshapen, dejected humanity
Long since empty of his love and grace.
So far removed from the hope of Salvation,
As defined by the sight of the blind.
These seeds of Us now planted deep
In the furious fissures of Them.
Germination of the Dark Powers,
Becoming Vessels of Them.
Revision of the Pious Eugenic,
Becoming Weapons of Them.
Pollution of the Promise of Peace,
Becoming Vessels of Them.
Distillation of Death Hereafter,
Becoming Beacons of Them.
We As Vessels of Them.
We As Vessels of Them.

Terraemortus
04:37
|
|||
Surging thunder - Presaged maelstrom;
Emanation of the Sade Divine.
Fissures gleaming - Facades crumbling;
Shaken ego and trembling breath.
Frenzied cries - Rattled eyes;
Wayward steps through maze of blight.
Doctrines failing - Columns falling;
From their Justice none may hide.
Trampled corpses - Terraemortus;
Flattened hopeless and broken bones.
Vicious forces - Terraemortus;
Prismatic Sorrow and Death.
Never-ending grave upheaval;
Neither living nor carrion rest.
Shattered psyche as fractured as the Earth;
Fractures for madness to breach.
Trampled corpses - Terraemortus;
Flattened hopes and broken bones.
Vicious forces - Terraemortus;
Prismatic Sorrow and Death.
Terraemortus - Mortiferum Terrae.
Terraemortus - Sepultus Mundi.

Nuestra Herencia

[Letra a “La Boriqueña”, versión oficialista, por Manuel Fernández Juncos (1903). Letra a “La Boriqueña”, versión nacionalista, por Lola Rodríguez de Tío (San Germán, 1867).]
¡O tierra de Borinquen,
Donde he muerto yo,
En este jardín de venenos
En decadente esplendor;
Levanto mi caliz
Hacia sus montañas de miseria!
¿A ese llamar de la tumba
No arde tu corazón?
Vamonos borinqueño, vamonos ya
Que nos espera ansiosa
Ansiosa la Muerte

Adoration of Ruin
05:51
|
|||
Low did mountains sink,
Beneath the waves on high.
Shorelessness abound
For all who drown in the splendor
Of Death and Decay,
Baren Maw and Needy Limbs;
Symptoms of a Truth windswept bare.
The throne of Light is by Death deposed
And the rivers of carrion flow towards it.
The Master of All, SATAN, rapes the crown
And the mantles of ruin are His to shine.
Ruin, so bountiful
To reduce the generations.
Ruin, overwhelming
On the ears and tongues of all.
Ruin, everywhere
So within as without.
Ruin, in our hearts
As our minds and our souls.
|
||||
8. |
||||
... Amen.
“Temporal, temporal
alla viene el temporal
Temporal, temporal
alla viene el temporal
¡Ay! ¿Qué será de mi Borinquen,
cuando llegue el temporal?
¿Qué será de Puerto Rico,
si lo azota un temporal?”
